Between 30 August – 1 September 2016, the delegation of the Interlan Association took part in the 7th AfPIF forum, “African Peering and Interconnection Forum”, which took place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. AfPIF aims to promote the cross-border interconnection opportunities, its presence at the event being asured by infrastructure providers, Internet service providers (ISP), Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) and international financial institutions.

The Interlan Association took part in a series of discussions about investment priorities in the broadband field for 2014-2020, as provided in Priority Addendum 2 – Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for a competitive digital economy.
