The representatives of the Interlan Association take part in the workshop organized by the Romanian National Computer Security Incident Response Team – CERT-RO together with the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security – ENISA, regarding the NIS Directive and its implications for national CSIRT. The workshop was attended by specialists in the field of cyber security within public institutions and the private environment in the sectors covered by the NIS Directive.
InterLAN continues national expansion. Starting with 06 November 2017 InterLAN inaugurated a new POP in Cluj.
The fourth annual meeting of Romanian network operators – RONOG 4 took place Tuesday, 31 October 2017, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest. The event was structured into four sections that addressed different presentation subjects and related discussions. Following the subjects discussed during the RONOG 4 conference, press releases were published by various specialized online publications Club IT&C, Wall- Street.ro, Agerpres, Agora, BIZ, Mediafax.
CERT-RO organizes the 7th edition of the annual conference “The New Global Challenges in Cyber Security”. The conference takes place between 30 and 31 October 2017, at the National Library of Romania, and the Interlan Association is present at the event. This year, CERT-RO proposes to offer mixed debates, presentations and workshops addressing technical and administrative subjects relevant for Romanian, European and global cyber security.
RIPE 75 Meeting takes place between 22 and 26 October, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The delegation of the Interlan Association takes part in the 5 days of presentations, tutorials, workshops and open discussions.
Between 15-17 October, in Bratislava, Slovakia, the 31st Euro-IX Forum is taking place, the Interlan Association taking in this event as a full rights member of the organization. The participants discuss aspects related to peering, interconnections and regional cooperations.

The representatives of the Interlan Association take part in the “Smart Cities of Romania – Smart Governance for Smart Citizens” conference on 10 and 11 October 2017 at the JW Marriott Grand Hotel, Bucharest. The third edition of the events follows up on the objectives of the National Partnership for Territorial Development and at the same time proposes for evaluation the most relevant Urban Projects and Solutions.

The National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) organized a new edition of its international conference called “360° regulation. From word to terabyte in 15 years”, to mark the 15 year anniversary since the establishment of the Romanian electronic communications market regulator.
