2022-11-02 - Peering Asia 4.0

“Peering Asia 4.0” is taking place during November 2^nd-3^rd, hosted by BBIX Thailand and Thailand IX (National Telecom) in Bangkok.

Interlan delegation attends the conference with an attendance of more than 350 operators and service providers, and various policy community representatives from over 50 countries with the goal of promoting peering and interconnection in the Asia Pacific region.

Various discussions were held with other attendees on ongoing and future partnerships.

The “RIPE” 85 event organized by RIPE NCC takes place in Belgrade, Serbia during the 24th – 28th of October 2022. 2022-10-01 - InterLAN Internet Exchange announces the partnership with DE-CIX

InterLAN Internet Exchange proudly announces the partnership with DE-CIX starting this October.

The agreement will enable network operators and enterprises to provide high standard services and offer valuable solutions with extended security for their partners both from Romania and abroad, as the President of InterLAN, Eric Andrei Baleanu explained.

According  the CEO of DE-CIX, Ivo Ivanov: “the partnership will give access to the InterLAN community to be fully integrated with service offerings across the globe”.

The seventh edition of the RONOG event took place on September 29, 2022 in Bucharest, where representatives of telecommunications network operators and relevant organizations from Romania and the region participated. The event brought together over 130 participants who addressed topics related to the directions of Internet development, perspectives and challenges faced by telecommunications operators in Romania, the security of networks and information systems, the benefits offered by connecting operators to traffic exchange platforms of the Internet, the implementation of 5G technology in Romania, testing and measurement operations of network parameters, Wi-Fi 6, the influence of Unix in the emergence and development of the Internet in Romania on a large scale

On the 12 and 14 September 2022, InterLAN attends the 15th “European Peering Forum” (EPF) in Rome, Italy.
