Tonight, InterLAN Internet Exchange, the largest Internet Exchange in Romania xceeded the 100 Gbps total traffic peak threshold.
The Interlan Association took part in the reunion of the ANCOM Advisory Board where the ANCOM 2017 Action Plan was discussed and adopted.

Starting with 30 November 2016 the interconnection with Antena Group was performed on the TVX InterLAN platform. Thus, the following channels became available on the multicast flow: Antena 1, Antena 3, Antena Stars, Zu TV and Happy Channel.
The Interlan Association took part in the reunion of the ANCOM Advisory Board. During the meeting, various subjects were debated, among which the Decision Project for the establishment of the litigation settling procedure regarding the physical infrastrucure regime for electronic communications networks.
The delegation of the Interlan Association was invited to take part in a debate addressing the copyright project reform, organized by the Association for Technology and Internet (ApTI) in collaboration with the Romanian Association for the Online Marketing and Advertising Industry (IAB Romania). The debate came in the context of a new law package reforming copyrights, launched by the European Commission on 14 September 2016
The Interlan Association took part in the 4th edition of “The convention on electronic communications”, organized by the Romanian Electronic Communications Association – A.C.e.R., which took place at the Marriott Hotel, Bucharest. During the event, innovative technical solutions were presented and a series of debates was organized, attended by representatives of authorities in the Romanian telecommunications and audio-visual industry.
The Interlan Association took par in the 29th Euro-IX Forum, organized in Krakow, Poland betwee 6 and 8 November 2016. The representatives of the Association took part in the debates within the Forum, as well as the 31st General Assembly of the Euro-IX organization.
Between 24 and 28 October 2016, the delegation of the Interlan Association took part in the “RIPE 73” reunion in Madrid, Spain. The object of the trip was to identify potential sponsors and speakers for the RONOG 4, as well as new opportunities to collaborate with partner organizations.
